On this episode, Adriana and Carmelo sit with members of the University of the Virgin Islands to discuss recent efforts by the University to increase it’s Hispanic enrollment. Currently, the Hispanic population at the University is below 6%, and officials are trying to increase numbers to match that of the general population. The guests spoke of the many activities the organization does, such as talent shows, and community outreach in schools, to PSA’s and motivational speaking. They also spoke about their latest project LIATI, which was a collaboration of various music artist on a positive song.
