The Agriculture and Food Fair of the US Virgin Islands invites the public participation in the 2011 Vegetable Home Garden Competition. Only homeowners who grow crops for home use may enter the competition. Persons who sell produce from their gardens are not allowed to participate. Participants may enter box,container and/or traditional garden. Gardens will be judged twice (at four week intervals starting in January) by three judges. Judging criteria include crop layout,cultural practices,and pest management.
