Commissioner Richard T. Evangelista of the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) is notifying the public of its latest territory-wide fuel price survey findings that were conducted on Monday, November 22, 2021 on St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John. Fuel surveys are designed to inform consumers of the most affordable fuel prices throughout the territory. Consumers may view fuel survey results and rack rates by visiting www.dlca.vi.gov
On St. Croix, the lowest price for self-service regular was found at One Love Service Station Golden Rock for $2.799 per gallon. One Love Service Station-Princesse and Right Way Service Station came in second with the lowest price for self-service regular at $2.999 per gallon. The lowest price for self-service premium at $2.999 per gallon was found at One Love Service Station - Golden Rock. Right Way Service Station and One Love Service Station-Princesse came in second with the lowest price for self-service premium at $2.999 per gallon. The lowest price for diesel was found at Titan Service Station, Right Way Service Station and One Love Service Station-Princesse at $2.999 per gallon.
On St. Thomas, consumers may find the lowest prices for fuel at Puma Bovoni for $3.919 per gallon for self-service regular and $4.119 for self-service premium. The second lowest price for self-service regular were found for $3.999 at the following eleven (11) service stations: 1st Stop, 1st Stop Frydenhoj, Gas Works, Giant Gas, Home Town, Ali Baba, Petrus Frenchtown, Petrus Polyberg, Petrus Smith Bay, Race Track, and Race Track East. 1st Stop, 1st Stop Frydenhoj, Gas Works, Giant Gas, HomeTown, Ali Baba, Petrus Frenchtown, Petrus Polyberg, Petrus Smith Bay, Race Track, and Race Track East had the second lowest self-service premium at $4.199 per gallon. The lowest price for diesel was found at 1st Stop, 1st Stop Frydenhoj, Home Town and Race Track East for $3.799 per gallon.
On St. John, the lowest self-service prices were found at Racetrack at $4.58 per gallon for regular and $4.68 per gallon for premium. E-C Gas Station came in second with the lowest for self-service at $4.61 per gallon for regular and $4.72 per gallon for premium. The lowest price for diesel was found at E-C Gas Station for $4.15 per gallon.
DLCA also notifies the public of the latest rack rate prices issued by Gulf Oil at Lime Tree Bay Terminal effective November 22 – November 28, 2021. The new rack prices with the .14/gallon tax are, $2.6100 for regular, $2.7000 for premium, and diesel (ULSD) is at $2.7000.
