Governor Bryan Announces Antonio Stevens as Acting Director of the V.I Fire and EMS

Governor Albert Bryan Jr. announces the appointment of Antonio Stevens as the Acting Director of the Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services (VIFEMS).

Mr. Stevens, a dedicated veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces with over 17 years of service in the Virgin Islands Fire Service, currently holds the position of Assistant Director and is the Territorial Hazardous Material/Weapon of Mass Destruction Coordinator for the agency.

Antonio Stevens holds an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security and Emergency Management from Colorado Technical University.

This educational foundation, combined with his extensive service in emergency response and his deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by the agency, positions him to lead VIFEMS during this time of transition.

Governor Albert Bryan Jr. expresses his gratitude for Antonio Stevens' unwavering dedication to the people of the United States Virgin Islands and is confident that Stevens will continue to faithfully execute the agency's mission of providing top-tier emergency medical and fire services to Virgin Islands residents.
