The Department of Health (DOH) has cleared Governor Albert Bryan Jr. to come out of quarantine today, Monday, April 25, 2022, after the Governor tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

DOH Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tai Hunte-Ceasar said Governor Bryan, who remained in good health during the quarantine period, has cleared the contagious stage after contracting the virus. The Governor already had been recovering from the virus when he tested positive last week, and he has been asymptomatic for seven days.

Although he is fully vaccinated and boosted, Governor Bryan has continuously followed the practice of also taking a COVID-19 test upon his return to the Territory since the beginning of the pandemic.
