Senator Marvin Blyden, after experiencing symptoms of suspected food poisoning, checked himself into the Schneider Regional Medical Center on Friday morning as a precautionary measure.
Blyden, who was undergoing tests and observation as of Friday afternoon, is resting comfortably according to family members and staffers and is confident he’ll be back at work next week. The Senator and his family have expressed thanks to all who have voiced their concern for his well-being and for the community’s continued support and prayers.
