WTJX to Provide Live Coverage of Governor Bryan’s Fifth State of the Territory Address

Governor Albert Bryan, Jr. is scheduled to deliver his fifth State of the Territory Address on Monday, January 23, at the Earle B. Ottley Legislative Hall on St. Thomas. WTJX will be providing live coverage beginning at 6:30 pm on WTJX-TV Channel 12 and WTJX-FM, 93.1.

The Governor is expected to provide updates on the territory’s ongoing recovery and rebuilding projects, current and future economic expansion initiatives, plans for the territory’s energy future, and detail his administration’s accomplishments.

To assist the public with analyzing the Address, WTJX boasts a strong political panel anchored by political strategist, Lesley Comissiong. Joining Lesley is former Senate Presidents Usie Richards and Almando ‘Rocky’ Liburd, Virgin Islands Board of Education Candidate in the 2022 Primary cycle, Denis Lynch II, and rounding out the panel, former Senator Roosevelt David.  

This program preempts WTJX’s national news program, the PBS NewsHour. Viewers can tune in to channel 12-3 with their antenna or Viya cable 92 to watch the PBS NewsHour. You can also stream the PBS NewsHour live at the following site: www.pbs.org/newshour/live
