On Dec. 26 there was a report of a burglary at the John H. Woodson Jr High School. The following items were stolen:

  • 6 gray colored Chromebook laptops.
  • 7 Lenovo laptops.
  • 1 DVR system.

The estimated value of the items exceeds $6,000.


The Port Authority is advising residents and travelers that the airports are really busy with traffic during this season and that curbside parking is not allowed at either airport. The Port Authority invites residents and travelers to park in the parking lot. Port Authority suggest that friends or family traveling should call for a pickup after they have landed and picked up their luggage.


The first Cruzan Rum Sweet Bread and Breakfast Jam took over the Christiansted by-pass early Saturday morning a stage was set on the overlook with DJ’s and live band jamming…and by 6 am the bypass was unpassable for vehicles but packed with people…The Dept of Tourism’s new festivals division produced the event to what all say was a tremendous success.


Out of the British Virgin Islands (BVI), customer service touch terminals have been put at the Waterfront Jetty and Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport to further promote exceptional customer relations. The touch terminals will let visitors give feedback about their customer service experience. The feedback provided by the touch terminal is uploaded in real-time to a central online dashboard for analysis, which allows various government agencies to understand how various factors affect their service levels. The information is accessible by all government departments and allows them to generate reports and find ways to improve customer service.
