Senator Kenneth Gittens is opposed to the special session called by Governor Bryan for the purpose of amending the VI Medical Canabis Patient Care Act. The Governor's proposal would allow for recreational marijuana use and would help the Government Employees' Retirement System (GERS).
VI Port Authority Executive Director Carlton Dowe met with St. John residents last night to discuss fees at the Enighedd Pond parking lot. When the parking lot opens on Monday the first half-hour will be free then a flat fee of $10 for the entire day. Once parking equipment is in place a new parking fee will be implemented.
Public Services Commission (PSC) has a hearing on Thursday, December 12th.
