A plane belonging to Sea Flight made an emergency landing in waters between St. Croix and St. Thomas following problems the aircraft experienced. According to the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency, at about 9:29 a.m. yesterday the 911 emergency call center was notified of the Sea Flight #394SF aircraft, had landed on waters between St. Croix and St. Thomas.

VITEMA said the passengers — seven in total — appeared safe. The passengers were being transported to St. Thomas for further evaluation by emergency personnel. The flight landed two miles off St. Thomas.

The Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA) is hosting the "Surviving an active threat, Run, Hide, Fight" course. The course is design to teach residents how to handle active shooter incident. The course will be offered on March 2nd and 3rd in St. Thomas and March 5th and 6th. On Saturday, January 25th starting at 8:30 am, the St. John Centerline Road from Susannaberg Clinic up to Bethany Church Entrance will be closed to dig a trench for New Fiber Optic cable.
