The Department of Health's latest infographic issued Wednesday night showed 22 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the territory: 13 on St. Croix, 7 on St. Thomas, and 2 in St. John.

On St. Croix, three of the new cases were transmitted through community transmission, seven through close contact, and the three other cases were under investigation as of yesterday.

In St. Thomas, five of the new cases were under investigation; one was transmitted through community transmission and the other close contact.

The two new cases on St. John were travel related.

Questions were raised about the purchase of two used cars. The purchases were initiated by Taylor and payment was made last year. Waste Management has yet to receive the cars. Sen. Marvin Blyden said Taylor told him the vehicles were being purchased from a relative of his. Ann Hanley, the interim executive director said delivery of the vehicles were delayed because models had been switched.
