The skit depicts Sarah and Addie two market women who are speaking our local term ‘melee’(gossip). They speak about a husband's detrimental habit of gambling the money that is supposed to be used to provide for his family. On occasion Sarah finds herself gambling as it was pointed out by Addie because she bought lottery tickets. Then there is the family that has been robbed numerous times of their prized chicken that they ate. It was a neighbor that was well known in the community. After being caught he was sent straight to JAIL.
